House P, Kupinec
Designed for a young family seeking a slower, more meaningful connection with nature, this contemporary house creates a calm setting for everyday life. The architecture combines open living spaces, natural materials, generous glazing, and direct access to the outdoors, allowing family life to flow naturally between the interior and the surrounding landscape.
The ground floor is organized around a spacious open-plan living area, where cooking, dining, and relaxing take place in one shared space. Large glass surfaces open towards the covered terrace and garden, bringing daylight, views, and nature into the heart of the home.
The children's bedrooms are placed beneath a green roof, creating a softer and more protected environment while visually integrating this part of the house into the landscape. The planted roof becomes an extension of the garden, adding a natural layer above the private rooms and reinforcing the idea of living closer to nature.
Above, the upper level provides an additional private space with access to a generous roof terrace. Together, the different levels create a home that balances family life, privacy, and outdoor living—a contemporary place designed for growing, gathering, and returning to nature.
