Ritual of Bacchic Space: Cantilly Garden Restaurant Wine Tasting Room

Ritual of Bacchic Space is an experimental visual exploration of wine, ritual and space, where architecture, body and object become part of a single sensory composition. The project extends beyond the conventional wine-tasting environment, treating the space as a living ritual shaped through material, movement, light and gesture.

The walls were painted by the artist using wine and mud, while discarded wine-box lids were repurposed as architectural and sculptural elements. Through these raw, reclaimed materials, the series explores transformation, imperfection and the tactile relationship between wine, place and the human body.

Rather than documenting a finished space, the project captures an ephemeral spatial experience — one in which material, ritual and performance become inseparable.
