Kindergarten Videk, Brdovec

An extension and renewal of the existing Videk Kindergarten, shaped by the story of the boy whose name it carries. The new 750 m² addition reinterprets the existing architecture through a fragmented volume, child-scaled spaces and a central atrium that brings light, orientation and a sense of calm to the heart of the building. A contemporary facade, murals and carefully considered connections between old and new create a coherent architectural whole rooted in its local identity.
